Defining Design Inc. is a Toronto-based graphic design company specializing in communications; founded in 2003 by Paul Bonsell.

At Defining Design Inc., we create thoughtful and complete design for the not-for-profit and corporate world. We are a group of forward-thinking designers. We’re passionate about design. We are innately creative and practical at solving problems. 

We love art, design and everything around it. We are constantly evolving. Critical of our design, approach and process, we always look for ways to improve and diversify our studio’s work. We see room to grow in everything we do and through this, always strive for the an innovative design solution. We believe that design can affect change and people’s perception of change.

We care about what our clients are doing, this is a lot of the reason we do so much work in the non-profit sector. Our clients embrace change. They work at effecting change. Our clients work to enhance life, humanity, and the social and physical environments in which we live. Who wouldn’t want to work for clients like these?

Lastly, our success is owed to the relationships we develop with our clients. We listen carefully to our clients and approach everything we do with great consideration to their needs. Our agenda is to win our clients approval, not industry recognition and awards – but we do win awards, probably because we listen to our clients, and well, since we are trying to communicate for our clients, we should probably listen to them.
